Fall Parents Weekend
This is a weekend in the fall when family members and friends visit the campus. On Friday, guests are encouraged to attend classes. Teachers, counselors, and administrators are available to meet with guests during a designated time following classes on Friday and by appointment at other times throughout the weekend. A variety of activities are scheduled during the weekend, from the Friday evening Live the Legacy Auction to the Fall Ball on Saturday evening. For Fall Ball, guests are encouraged to accompany their Culver student to the Ball. Semi-formal or formal attire is appropriate for girls and guests. Cadets wear Dress Uniform.
Live the Legacy Auction
Culver’s Live the Legacy Auction takes place during Fall Parents Weekend. It is a fun social event that celebrates Culver and also raises important dollars for the Culver Fund, Culver’s annual fund. Cocktails and a dinner of heavy hors d’oeuvres are served. To purchase tickets, sponsor a table, or donate items, visit www.culver.org/auction.
Spring Parents Weekend
Spring Parents Weekend follows the same format as Fall Parents Weekend. Special events such as a round robin tennis tournament or a ropes course experience in Culver’s Bird Sanctuary may be scheduled. There are also many student athletic competitions and performances to enjoy throughout the weekend.
Alumni Reunion Weekend
Alumni Reunion Weekend is a special time when former students return to campus to rekindle friendships and share memories. Alumni guests are the focus of this weekend, and various student activities and events are featured for their enjoyment.
A series of events showcasing the graduating seniors/first-classmen are scheduled throughout this special weekend. Final Ball is a formal dance held on Saturday evening and all guests are encouraged to attend. Officers’ Figure, Senior Waltz, and the Ringing Ceremony are highlights of the evening. Semi-formal or formal attire is appropriate for girls and guests. Cadets wear Dress Uniform.
